Chapter 226
Chapter 226
Ridrian ran madly. The moment he was transported to Heneven’s magic circle, he moved to the Alto region with a horse that was prepared until there was no one. Then he started running himself, using everything bit of demonic power he could use.
As he ran for around 10 hours, he saw a desert. The land of death where no human can live, the forbidden land of the dragons. Ridrian pushed down on his hood.
‘Is this the remains of the demons?’
He could see the remains of the demons as it seemed like they crept into Heneven. It seemed like they were spread due to the sunlight. Everything was black.
‘Did Heneven also become demonized?’
Perhaps it wasn’t just Lucretia; the entire continent was demonized. He didn’t want to care about what the demons were planning, but if they were ruining this land where he was going to live with Iona, it was a different story.
Ridrian ground his teeth.
“If they lay a finger on Iona, I won’t forgive them.”
Iona’s advice about not killing only had meaning when she was safe and smiling. What would be the point if she couldn’t come back to him?
She was his resting place. His future. If they were about to ruin his happiness that finally came, he would rip all of them apart.
Ridrian ran the entire day. It would be impossible for a normal human. He was thankful for the first time for this power.
‘I was only able to receive this power safely thanks to Iona. My life only exists if she exists.’
When he saw the mountain before him, he took out his Lotuburu. He arrived as he increased his demonic power even further.
The mountain seemed endless. It was so tall that snow was at the top and a huge forest at the bottom.
‘This is Magalia. Strange aura.’
He heard the legend about it, but it seemed to exist. Some strange aura was strangely ruining his senses.
Ridrian used demonic power like demons to use magic, but normal people would use magic power. It seemed like the minus magic power in demonic and plus magic power in normal magic power were clashing.
‘This was why the group couldn’t find it easily.’
Ridrian increased his power a little more to eliminate the magic power that was ruining his sense. He could feel the aggression around the area as soon as he did.
There was a lazy voice that came through the wood.
“Are you the Emperor?”
Ridrian found the origin of the voice. As he looked up, a demon was at the top of a tall tree.
“I’m Ryuga. Recaldo told me to stop you. You’re too early.”
‘Early?’
Ridrian ignored his comment. He fixed Lotuburu in his hand while asking.
“Where’s Iona?”
“Iona?”
The demon looked confused. Then he nodded as he seemed to realize.
“Ah, you mean that sacrifice. Recaldo is taking good care of her.”
Ridrian ground his teeth at his rude answer. How dare he talk about her like that?
The demon innocently bit his finger and tilted his head.
“You’re going to die with her anyway, so what’s the problem?”
Ridrian’s rage exploded at that moment. The Lotuburu absorbed the demonic power for the first time in a while and looked excited.
“I have no time for this. I’m going to kill you all and bring Iona back myself.”
The demon saw Ridrian’s rage and smiled. His eyes also reddened, and he took out a dagger.
“Good. This is more like it. Let’s have some fun.”
The grey-haired demon sprung himself towards Ridrian.

There was a huge sound of clashing.
“Oh my!”
The pink-haired demon stumbled due to shaking ground but soon regained her balance. She looked out the window. There was a sound of an explosion with light smoke.
“Ryuga seemed to be having fun. At this point, they might even destroy the nest.”
“Ryuga is the most demonic child out of all of us.”
Recaldo’s voice could be heard. The tens of demons in the room welcomed Recaldo politely.
“Recaldo.”
“Yes, Wheena. How is the preparation for the ceremony to bring the moon clashing earlier coming?”
“Smoothly. There will be enough demonic powers within a few years through all the demonic stones throughout the continent. We can start the ceremony the moment the key comes to the location.”
“It’s a good thing we had a plan B. There was so much side effect on the ground, so I didn’t want to use it, but if we are successful, it doesn’t matter what happens to this world.”
“Isn’t it a good thing since we’ll have our revenge against that stupid Theres?”
“Yes.”
Wheena carefully flipped the old book that looked like it’ll crumble any moment. She read it for a moment, and her purple eyes curved.
“If it weren’t for this old book, we would’ve ruined everything. Your grandpa is amazing, Recaldo. To prepare this book from a few thousand years ago. He is fit to be the demonic king of the ground.”
“He anticipated everything. That Theres will one day banish us. And that demons would be left on the ground who couldn’t return.”
He brushed down on the book and closed his eyes. It seemed like he was reminiscing.
“Now, Wheena, prepare the ceremony. Let’s end this long ordeal.”
“Yes, Recaldo.”
“And Pile, Roman, please watch over the sacrifice. She became more active than before. You can break an arm or a leg if she gets too annoying.”
“Yes!”
“Ah, I know I’m saying this out of worry, but humans break easily, so be careful to control your power. You can’t kill her now.”
“Yes, sir.”
All the demons in the room smiled brightly.
