Chapter 195.1
Chapter 195.1
The sound of the bowl clattering came to an abrupt stop. No way… Seoryeong turned her head, her movements stiff and slow. Kia went on speaking, his black eyes locked solely on her.
“The only person who knows Solzhenitsyn’s body intimately.”
“…!”
Seoryeong’s fists tightened. Across from her, Natalia’s eyes gleamed with curiosity.
“Wait. What, was he into weird stuff in bed or something?”
“That, I wouldn’t know.”
Kia gave a lazy shrug. Natalia leaned in toward the table, watching Seoryeong, who was gripping the edge of the sink as if to steady herself.
“Whatever it takes, I can do it. A target like Yuri Solzhenitsyn, someone that perfect to seduce, doesn’t come around often. I’ve bet my whole career on this mission. I could spend my entire life pretending to love him.”
“…”
“He looks lonely, anyone can tell. He skips meals, drinks on an empty stomach. If he’d just stop pulling away when I touch him, I know I could get through to him. But he doesn’t—and that just makes me want him more. It’s driving me insane.”
Natalia’s voice slipped into a soft moan, her body shifting restlessly in her chair.
“Even Prime Minister Maxim and his son both married Asian women. I only forced the black hair part to match, but luckily, Yuri Solzhenitsyn’s blind. If he’d just hold me once, he’d know right away my body’s small and delicate like an Asian woman’s. That man… he’s not impotent, is he?”
Seoryeong calmly set the soup bowl in front of her, her expression unreadable.
“Huh? Hey, unnie, say something.”
“…”
“What’s he like in bed? Is he the rough type?”
Without a word, Seoryeong turned back toward the kitchen.
She suddenly opened the upper cabinet and rummaged through the pots. Seeing no sign of cooperation, Natalia pouted and crossed her arms.
Kia watched Seoryeong with a strange expression, as if silently scolding her with his eyes.
“Sonya. You said you’d help me.”
Suddenly, she strode back with a steaming pot. The moment he sensed something off, Kia’s words died in his throat. Seoryeong swung the pot down hard on the back of Natalia’s head just as she was lighting her cigarette.
Thwack, thwack, thwack! The aluminum pot struck again and again. Until Kia jumped from his seat, Seoryeong’s face stayed expressionless, her movements mechanical.
Thwack, thwack, thwack! Bright red blood splattered the rim of the pot, and Natalia collapsed like a broken branch. Then Seoryeong stomped on her ankle with a sharp crack.
Kia looked from the unconscious Natalia, her ankle bent at an unnatural angle, to Seoryeong’s cold, unreadable face.
She dropped the pot at his feet with a metallic clatter that tore through the silence.
“Sonya… what are you doing…”
“Just felt like it.”
“What?”
“I just felt like it. Why?”
“…”
The truth was, there was no reason except a sudden rush of murderous intent. Even she couldn’t explain the rage that had nearly consumed her.
Seoryeong brushed her hair back, pulled a pair of scissors from the counter, and before Kia could stop her, she hacked off her hair to match Natalia’s length.
It all happened in an instant. She threw the cut hair at Kia’s face and muttered,
“Bring me that same face.”
“…What?”
Kia blinked in confusion. The next moment, she grabbed him by the back of the neck and whispered,
“You told me to act like a bitch, didn’t you?”
“…!”
“But don’t get it twisted. I’m the one who gives the orders. I always have, from the start.”
Seoryeong stared coldly at Kia’s stiff, contorted face. Then, with a slow, detached motion, she brushed her fingers along his neck and cheek.
Leaning in as if to kiss him, Seoryeong whistled sharply into his ear. Kia flinched and turned pale. His pupils trembled.
“You’re not the only one who’s been lenient with me.”
“…”
“Want to pant under me? Then lower your head and behave. At least try to stay in my good graces. I like dogs who’d give up their liver and gallbladder for me. If you’re really a stud, then fetch like your master told you.”
She pressed her fingernail hard into the corner of Kia’s eye and murmured:
“Bring me that face.”
She had to chase Lee Wooshin out of Russia.
She had to meet him… and end this cursed fate once and for all…
Seoryeong suppressed the nausea and continued speaking.
“Lee Wooshin has a physical anomaly. Without knowing that, you won’t be able to unbutton even a single button of Solzhenitsyn.”
