Chapter 6.2
Chapter 6.2
It certainly wasn’t because she hated it. Rather, it was because she had shared a kiss with her crush, but she couldn’t say that she liked it. It was something that she had never experienced before, so naturally, she didn’t know what to say.
Watching her face filled with confusion, Chezare slowly narrowed his eyes. Eileen’s heart began to race, and when she realised that he was coming too close to her, she closed her eyes and shouted hastily, “I… I hated it!”
Chezare smiled bitterly.
“You shouldn’t close your eyes when you lie, Eileen. I told you this before.”
He was a man who was familiar with even her most minute habits, so she immediately confessed the truth.
“Actually, I don’t know…”
As she spoke, there were tears in her eyes. He leaned closer to her face, pulling the distance between the two. He whispered softly from where he was, but they were so close that she could almost feel his breath.
“If that’s the case, why don’t we try it again, until we find the answer?”
Her heart, which was already pounding wildly, seemed to beat even harder at this moment, so much so that she felt it was going to jump out of her chest.
The pair of crimson eyes that were surrounded by long lashes were fixed on Eileen. The elegantly-shaped lips moved slowly, and the low, baritone voice sounded again.
“It’ll be problematic if you don’t like it. In the future, there’ll be more things I want to do to you.”
His breaths tickled her skin, while his deep voice penetrated into the depths of her heart. A strange yet wondrous feeling rose through her body.
A short moan erupted from Eileen’s throat. Her body was stiff, but before their lips met once more, she quickly turned her head away.
“I’ve just had a beer, and I ate a cookie…”
As she muttered those words, the next thing that happened caused her to widen her eyes in surprise. His lips had touched her neck.
At first, he stopped with a light peck. Then, his lips pressed down gently again, and his tongue licked her skin. A short and hurried suckling sound could be heard, and his hard teeth grazed her tender flesh. She felt a faint ache, somewhat like a tickle, and it overwhelmed her senses.
What was that?
The hairs on her body stood on end, and for the first time, her stomach tightened. She wondered if she was feeling nervous because he had nibbled on a sensitive spot? Or could it be…
Eileen’s knowledge of sex was limited to what she learned in biology classes. She couldn’t figure out what was going on. All she could do was tremble, and then, in a soft whisper, plead with Chezare.
“This… This feels strange. Oh.”
Whenever a strange sound escaped her throat, her body would uncontrollably flinch and tremble. Then, a slender finger undid the collar of her loose shirt.
The moment he kissed her exposed collarbone, a dizzying feeling rose from the tailbone, and she couldn’t take it anymore.
“Stop…!”
Eileen instinctively pushed him away in her panic. However, Chezare grabbed the hand that was pushing him away and yanked it over to his lips. He bit hard onto the inside of the wrist, right into the area where her veins were visible.
Her fingers twitched, and the teeth that had sunk into her flesh gradually left. It was only after Chezare had licked the teeth marks on her fair skin that he released his grip on her.
She looked at the man. Her heart was beating wildly, and she found it difficult to breathe. The burning gaze that enveloped her was fueled by excitement, but the lust that he showed towards her was unfamiliar to her. Words came out of her mouth before she realised it.
“You should only do such things with the person you like…”
That’s what she said, even though she felt that it was too insensitive and silly. However, she really couldn’t find a more sophisticated way of expressing the thoughts that were surging in her head.
At a loss from her reaction, he simply caressed her cheek gently as though she was very cute.
“You can do it with the person you’re going to marry,” he said nonchalantly then added quietly, “Come to the Imperial Palace tomorrow. I want you to join the Victory Ceremony and congratulate me.”
Can I do that?
Eileen nodded absent-mindedly, and Chezare then stroked her head.
“We’ll speak more at the banquet. As for your father…”
He paused for a moment before continuing in an unhappy tone, “I’ll look for him and send him home. Don’t worry.”
Hey everyone! Thank you for checking out our AWH translations. Sadly, our team has had to stop translating this series because another group of translators and editors have also picked it up. It wouldn’t make much sense to continue since they can work on it faster. We figure it’s better to invest our time and energy into other novels no one is translating. Thank you for understanding, and keep safe!
